Red Sox Hockey Club Zurich is looking for
Field hockey trainer/coach 40% (m/f)
as of 1 March 2022 or by agreement.
The trainings will take place in Zurich and coaching for matches will be throughout Switzerland.
The Red Sox Hockey Club Zurich, founded in 1926, is one of 20 hockey clubs in Switzerland. With around 250 members making Red Sox Hockey Club a medium-sized club. Red Sox is involved in school sports, and participates in tournaments and championships with teams from U8 to the Ladies, Mens and Senior teams. Red Sox is strongly connected to its neighborhood and city, but also characterizes as open-minded and approachable towards everyone. It is our goal to effectively bring grassroots and top-class sports together.
Your task will be to coach our U10 and U15 youth teams and the Ladies team. You will also take on coaching tasks for these teams, as far as Swisshockey’s match schedules allow. You will maintain a professional exchange with the Red Sox coaching team in monthly meetings.
Your working hours will correspond with the training and match times, which are usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm and Saturday and Sunday according to match schedules.
What we expect:
You have a solid coaching background in Field Hockey, and are an open-minded, socially competent person and a role model both on and off the hockey pitch. At a minimum, you are able to communicate on a basic level in both English and German, and will commit to improving your German knowledge as soon as possible.
