Contract-Temp Men’s 1st XI and 2nd XI Coach
Following an extremely successful season at the top end of the club for both Men’s and Ladies, BEHC have decided to restructure their club wide coaching set up in order to meet the clubs future aspirations of becoming a National League Club. The club has a thriving adult section of 12 teams and a vast junior section of over 350 juniors. The recently developed College Meadow hockey ground now boasts 2, side by side, astro pitches and a fully functioning clubhouse with 6 changing rooms, bar, social area and dining room.
BEHC are advertising for a Director of Hockey, however we are still shaping this role and want to also advertise for a Men’s 1st XI Coach and Men’s 2nd XI Coach.
Having finished 3rd in the South East Premier League under the outstanding guidance of Nikki Lloyd, the 1st XI squad are in a position to ‘kick on’ and push for a league title next season and reach Conference East. Player recruitment is top of the agenda in combination with pushing the current squad to reach its potential and integrate the high quality youth the club has developed. It is desirable for applicants for the M1’s role to hold a level 2 coaching badge, have a track record of success and be prepared to challenge the squad to reach the National League. Player/coach applicants are suitable for this role.
Similarly, in line with the 1st XI, the 2nd XI requires a coach to bridge the gap between 1’s and 2’s, a player/coach is also suitable for this role.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. The successful candidate will be asked to sign a self-employed coaching agreement.
