Part-Time Junior Development Officer
Job Description
The Junior development officer role aims to ensure the development of players, through the promotion of external programmes, and implementation of internal coaching programmes and specialist skill clinics. In addition, the role will assist the Junior VP with the resourcing of team requirements for coaching and equipment, and ensure teams and set to play as and when required for Hockey Victoria competition.
The role further extends to high performance talent identification and development, including liaison with senior club sections to ensure Junior players are being appropriately developed to meet the needs of senior hockey.
The role is a part time role , 15 hours per week but has variable demands on time based on the time of year. Key attributes for the role include a multi-tasker with initiative and follow through. A team player with positive attitude, attention to detail, an excellent communicator and has good time management skills.
