Repton HC was formed in 2016/17 aiming to offer high quality coaching and development opportunities to all of its members. Through our first three seasons the club’s membership has grown to exceed 450 adults and juniors. The Club has won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals across the various England Hockey Junior Age Groups Competitions in both indoor and outdoor competitions and has created a sustainable model providing both a family friendly environment, through Back To Hockey and Mixed Programmes, as well as inspiring its aspirational members to hockey excellence.
In 2018/19 Repton HC Men’s and Women’s Adult both won their respective outdoor Midlands Leagues under Head Coach and former Great Britain International Martin Jones. Players from Argentina, South Africa and the USA were recruited for the season and the teams will play in the Men’s Midlands 3s and Ladies Midlands Division 2 in 2019/2020. The Men’s XI were Runners Up in the National EH Tier 2 Championship Final and both Men’s and Ladies Indoor teams gained triple promotion in the season and will play in the National Leagues in Division 1 for the 2019/20 indoor season.
For the 2019/20 season we are seeking to recruit ambitious players who want to join Repton Hockey Club, operating either at Senior or Junior level, as it continues in its dynamic growth period. Applications from Player-Coaches for our Senior Teams are also welcome.
