Part-Time Ladies Head Coach
Burnt Ash (Bexley) HC is looking to recruit a Head Coach for the 2017/18 season to work with the Ladies 1st and 2nd XI squads.
The primary role of the Ladies’ Head Coach is to provide the 1st and 2nd XI squads with a high level of coaching and knowledge, strategic direction and maintain the structural integrity of the Ladies’ teams across all competitions.
This role offers an exciting and unique opportunity to work simultaneously with the Ladies’ 1st and 2nd XI squads in a coaching session one night each week and manage the 1st XI on match days. Both teams are looking to move forward and build on the success of the last few years. The 1st XI have been promoted into East League 1S for the 2017/2018 season having been promoted into East League 2SE in the 2012/13 season. The 2nd XI squad were promoted into Kent Division 1 in the 2015/16 season and are aiming to build on this success by seeking promotion next season.
Central to the role is the ability to manage players, and work alongside the teams, captains and club captain with player development and selection of squads. Coaches who are keen to develop our youth as well as continuing to develop our more experienced players in a team should apply.
The Coach is expected to plan and run weekly Tuesday training sessions and attend Saturday fixtures. In addition a suitable level of fitness training (quantity and quality) is required.
The successful candidate will hold at least a Level 2 Coaching qualification, a DBS certificate and have an up to date knowledge of the game and a modern coaching style.
